class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">They can examine any record or document and seize them to be presented as evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Private Dwelling:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Entry into private dwelling houses requires a warrant.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Seizure of complete document:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0If the advertisement cannot be separated without affecting the integrity of an article, then the entire article can be seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Information to Magistrate:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0They are required to inform the nearest Magistrate and follow their orders regarding the custody of any seized items.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Application of CrPC:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0The provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, apply justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Offences by Companies<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Liability of Officers:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0If an offense under the Act is committed by a company, every person in charge of and responsible for the company&#8217;s business at the time of the offense is deemed guilty, and liable to be punished accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Exception<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">: Any person can escape punishment if they can prove that they were unaware of the offense, or had exercised due diligence to prevent such a commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Liability of Key Personnel:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0If an offense is proven to have been committed with the consent or connivance of any director, manager, secretary, or other officer of the company, or if it is attributable to their neglect, they can be proceeded against and punished.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Cognizance and Bailable Nature of Offences<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Cognizable:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Offences under the Act are cognizable, meaning the police have the authority to investigate without a court order.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Bailable:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0All offenses under the Act are bailable, meaning that bail can be granted
