justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The primary objective of the Saksham Scholarship Scheme is to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Encourage specially-abled students to pursue technical education.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Provide financial support to enable them to complete their diploma courses.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Prepare students for a successful future through technical knowledge and skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">To be eligible for the Saksham Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Admission:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Must be admitted to the first year of a diploma-level course or the class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Disability:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Must have a disability of not less than 40%.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Family Income:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0The annual family income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Income Certificate:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0A valid income certificate issued by the State\/UT government is required.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Number of Scholarships<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scheme provides scholarships to all eligible specially-abled students admitted to first-year diploma courses or second-year courses through lateral entry in AICTE-approved institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Amount of Scholarship<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scholarship amount is:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Rs. 50,000 per annum for each year of study, up to a maximum of three years for first-year students and two years for second-year lateral entry students.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scholarship is provided as a lump sum amount to cover college fees, purchase of computers, stationery, books, equipment, and software.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">No additional grants are provided for hostel or medical (DBT) mode to the selected awardees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Application Process<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The application process for the Saksham Scholarship is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Online Application:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Eligible candidates must apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) after the application process is initiated and announced on the AICTE website.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Institutional Verification:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0The host institution where the candidate is studying verifies the online application.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Departmental Scrutiny:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0The Department of Technical Education (DTE) of the respective State\/UT verifies the applications as a second level of scrutiny.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Renewal Process<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scholarship is renewed for the next year of study based on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Receipt of a renewal application through the National Scholarship Portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Submission of passing certificate\/marksheet and a letter from the Head of the Institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Students must get promoted to the next class\/level to continue receiving the scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Terms and Conditions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scheme is subject to the following terms and conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The gap between passing the qualifying exam and admission to the diploma course should not exceed two years.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Incomplete applications will be rejected.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Candidates who fail or drop out will not be eligible for further scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The scholarship is contingent on the student not receiving any other financial assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">If false information is provided, the scholarship will be discontinued, and the amount must be refunded.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The AICTE is responsible for implementing and monitoring the scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The CGPA to percentage conversion factor is 9.5, i.e. CGPA x 9.5 = percentage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">In cases where both CGPA and total marks are provided, total marks will be considered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">If grades are given, the CGPA will be calculated and then converted to percentage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Provisional lists of shortlisted candidates will be available on the AICTE website, and queries must be raised within one month of publishing the list.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Queries regarding non-payment of scholarships due to invalid\/wrong account numbers will only be entertained up to six months from the date of publishing the merit list.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Documents Required<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The following documents are required for the application:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Attested photocopy of matriculation or equivalent certificate for date of birth verification.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Attested photocopy of the 10+2 or equivalent mark sheet.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">For MBA\/MCA applicants, attested copy of minimum entry qualification certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Bonafide studentship certificate from the college\/institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Attested photocopy of the previous academic year&#8217;s mark sheet for renewal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Certificate from the college\/institute confirming its approval by AICTE\/MCI etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Attested copy of the discharge certificate or I-card for ex-CPF personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">A self-declaration form from the applicant.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Any other relevant documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span
