The implementation of the Act involves various authorities, including Collectors, Administrators, Commissioners, and the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">On Whom it is Applicable:<\/span><\/strong><br class=\"ng-star-inserted\" \/><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The Act is applicable to all\u00a0<\/span><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">land acquisition<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0proceedings for public purposes in India. It applies to all landowners, tenants, agricultural laborers, and other individuals whose livelihoods are primarily dependent on the land being acquired. It also impacts Scheduled Tribes, other traditional forest dwellers, and other vulnerable groups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Penalties\/Punishments:<\/span><\/strong><br class=\"ng-star-inserted\" \/><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">The Act specifies various penalties and punishments for non-compliance. These include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Punishment for False Information:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0Providing false or misleading information or producing false documents is punishable with imprisonment or fine, or both.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span
